Steps to register your fundraiser for Supertee
- Complete an online registration with Supertee at fundraise.supertee.org.au.
- Read and agree to the Online Fundraising Guidelines waiver included in the online registration form.
- When you complete the sign up form an online fundraising page is automatically created for you so you can start collecting donations online straight away with your unique URL and page.
- If you are undertaking any activity in addition to collecting donations online, we will need to first provide a letter of Authority to Fundraise
- To issue your Authority to Fundraise, Supertee will need to assess that your proposed activity meets these guidelines, terms and conditions. You are not authorised to use Supertee as a beneficiary for any offline activity until you have received the Authority of Fundraise.
- A representative from Supertee (Fair Fight Foundation) will be in contact to discuss your fundraising plans in more detail within two business days or you can call us on 1300 466 797 to discuss your activity ahead of registering.
Guidelines for Community Fundraising
Your support is helping our goal to gift a Supertee to every child facing serious or long-term illness in hospital. Thank you!

General
- The Fair Fight Foundation Limited t/a Supertee reserves the right to not authorise or to revoke authorisation of any third-party fundraising activity, event or donation if it does not comply with these guidelines.
- You must ensure that any funds raised or donated are deposited in Supertee’s Trust Account within four weeks from the date of completion of your fundraising activity.
- You must disclose any previous criminal convictions to Supertee when you register. The disclosure of this information may or may not prevent you from being able to organise an activity in support of the Fair Fight Foundation Limited. Your conviction will be considered when assessing the suitability of the activity and yourself as the organiser. You must disclose any criminal charge brought against you during the period you are authorised to raise funds on behalf of the Fair Fight Foundation Limited by calling 1300 466 797.
- As the person registering the fundraising activity – you will be solely responsible for the activity. Supertee will not be responsible for the coordination and management of the event, finances, prizes, publicity and/or goods and services required to run the activity.
- Supertee representatives can provide fundraising advice and guidance.
- Supertee cannot facilitate online fundraising for anybody wishing to fundraise anonymously.
- In your correspondence and promotion of your fundraising activity or event, please ensure you make clear that the fundraising activity is not run by Supertee but is instead an activity to raise funds for Supertee to help gift Supertee medical garments to kids facing life-threatening conditions.
- Suggested phrases to use include: “proudly supporting Supertee” or “funds raised will support Supertee to provide a gift of a Supertee medical garment to children facing serious or long-term illness in hospital”.
- You must request approval to use the Supertee logo to promote your activity in order to use said logo.
- You must not conduct any doorknocking or telephone-based approaches.
- A Supertee representative may be able to attend your event depending on availability and location. For this to occur, you must provide at least 3 weeks’ notice.
- If you do not comply with the Community Fundraising Terms & Conditions, Supertee can suspend, cancel, terminate or refuse to facilitate your fundraising event.
- Supertee does not encourage the use of our families and kids in the media in any way that would compromise their privacy outside of our agreements. Should you wish to include some stories please share from our social media channels and contact fundraise@supertee.org.au if you would like to discuss the use of additional material.
Please note that Supertee is unable to assist with the below:
- Provision of any Supertee contacts or database for promotion or marketing purposes.
- Prizes for your fundraising activities such as auctions or raffles.
- Applying for relevant permits, licenses or insurance covers related to third party activities.
- Supertee staff or volunteers to run events.
- Sale of tickets, products or services as part of your initiative.
- Reimbursement of event related expenses or covering costs associated with your event or activity.
Online user conduct
- You must ensure that any content you upload (including photographs, videos and personal stories, comments or posts) is not obscene, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or racist and does not breach any law or regulation or any intellectual property rights of another party or any right or duty owed to a third-party. This means that if any of the content you upload is copyright protected; you must obtain the copyright owner’s written permission first to use it.
- Supertee has zero tolerance for bullying or harassment within our community – including on our online platforms.
- Please report any bullying or harassment immediately by calling 1300 466 797.
- Supertee reserves the right to remove any content from any fundraising page without any notice to you.
- You must not use any of the Supertee sites to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.
- You must not use the site to conduct, display or forward details of any survey, contest, pyramid scheme, chain letter, junk or spam email.
- You must not use or attempt to use the site for any unlawful, criminal or negligent purpose.
If you become aware of any content which breaches any of the above rules or any suspicious activity, please notify us immediately by emailing fundraise@supertee.org.au or calling 1300 466 797.
Privacy and personal information
All personal and sensitive information associated with the proposed fundraising activity will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy | Supertee Children's Charity
Risk
When you register to fundraise online you will receive automatic Authority to Fundraise online via your personal fundraising page.
Any activity outside of collection of donations online via your personal fundraising page must be screened before approval.
We will approve fundraising activity or event registrations that:
- Provide sufficient written information outlining the activity.
- The activity complies within our fundraising guidelines.
- The activity does not involve unnecessary risk.
- Any planned expenses for the activity do not exceed 40% of the gross proceeds or a lower percentage as required by law.
Authority to proceed with your activity requires Supertee to screen your activity against the following risk categories:
- Association (brand and reputation).
- Financial & legislative compliance.
- Health and safety.
Supertee will automatically decline high-risk activities - including but not limited to activities that:
- Pose a high level of personal or public safety and health risk.
- Involve armaments/weapons/firearms.
- Exploit labour or otherwise harm workers or children.
- Involve pornographic, nudity, semi-nudity or sexual imagery/activities.
- Involve cigarettes, cigars, or other tobacco products.
- Could potentially negatively impact the natural, social and political environment.
- Involve violence and/or the promotion of violence.
Intellectual Property
- Supertee grants you with a once only, non-transferrable, revocable, non-exclusive right to use Supertee’s intellectual property for the sole purpose of carrying out the fundraising event.
- You may not assign, transfer or otherwise deal with the intellectual property.
- You may not amend the intellectual property.
- You must maintain and protect the intellectual property at all times.
Liability
- It the responsibility of the organiser of the fundraising event to plan and implement effective safety management and meet their duty of care to event participants, volunteers, employees, contractors and the public.
- Supertee cannot provide advice on safety management or liability.
- Supertee’s Public Liability Insurance cover does not extend to third-party activities.
- Event Organisers should be aware of their personal liability and understand that they will not be covered by any policy held by Supertee if they proceed.
- Anyone involved in the fundraising activity or event is doing so of their own initiative and not in an official capacity as a Supertee volunteer.
- Organisers must ensure they have sufficient insurance in place. This may include insurance coverage in addition to public liability. Supertee cannot offer advice on what coverage organisers should have in place for their event/activity.
- Supertee including (their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors and representatives) accepts no responsibility for any loss, liability, damage or injury, cost or expense of any kind (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential losses, damages, costs and expenses) sustained by any third-party fundraising event or activity or in connection with the fundraising event or activity.
- Supertee (their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors and representatives) accepts no responsibility for any occupational health & safety or welfare claims arising from any third-party.
Legislative obligations
Your fundraising activity or event must comply with all Australian Federal & State Laws and local government requirements and have all appropriate permits, licenses and insurance for fundraising in the state and/or territory where the activity is to be held and obtained before the event has been promoted.
You are required to seek the required permits relating to activities such as raffles, lotteries, auctions. You must provide Supertee with a copy of these permits via email to fundraise@supertee.org.au
Please contact Supertee for further information and to apply for permits in the relevant jurisdictions. Please note every jurisdiction may have slightly different requirements and as such, it is important for you to contact the relevant regulator.
Tax-deductible and non-tax-deductible receipts
The Fair Fight Foundation Limited t/a Supertee holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR status). This means that donations made directly over $2 are eligible for a tax-deductible receipt.
Tax-deductible receipts can be issued by Supertee when donations are made on a purely voluntary basis with no conditions or benefits received in return.
Tax-deductible receipts are not issued when a payment results in the receipt of a good or service or the donation is not deemed to be unconditional. Examples include receiving recognition or benefits of sponsorship, purchasing raffle tickets, entry fees or auction items.
Everyone who donates to your online fundraising page is automatically issued with a tax-deductible receipt via email.
You can request tax-deductible receipts for any donor who provides a cash donation to you. You'll need to forward the full amount to Supertee and provide their details via email to fundraise@supertee.org.au
Alternatively, you can remit the full donation amount in the donor’s full name through your fundraising page - ensuring you enter their email address for the receipt.
Donors are required by the ATO to substantiate tax deductions with a receipt from a DGR status organisation such as the Fair Fight Foundation Limited.
If unsure, please contact Supertee to ask whether we can issue a tax-deductible receipt.
